Design Republic was engaged to envision a new identity for both the main lobby interior and street-facing façade at 609 Fifth Avenue. Having recently completed the flagship PUMA store at the same address, the team brought a deep familiarity with the building’s structure and its prominent location along one of New York City’s most iconic corridors.

The design capitalizes on the building’s generous ceiling height to create a striking and spacious entry experience while strengthening its visual presence along Fifth Avenue. A refined palette of natural materials draws inspiration from the architectural language of nearby landmarks, including Rockefeller Plaza, establishing a timeless yet contemporary atmosphere in line with surrounding Class A lobbies.

On the exterior, the redesigned façade offers a more cohesive architectural expression. By organizing previously disparate elements into a unified composition, the updated frontage highlights the lobby within, enhancing both street visibility and overall tenant appeal.
