Convene at Brookfield Place is a modern, versatile event space designed to host premium large-scale gatherings in downtown Manhattan. Design Republic partnered with Convene’s internal design team to develop this complex project in Battery Park City, which required working within strict building codes and life-safety regulations. This two-story, 75,000-square-foot facility, which includes a variety of meeting, dining, and gallery spaces, is capable of accommodating over 1,000 occupants for conferences, galas, trade shows, and other events. Its refined but neutral materials resonate with an audience who are accustomed to world-class hospitality environments but prefer to host events showcasing their own brand identity. The highly flexible spaces are supported by state-of-the-art lighting and technology, as well as a full-service kitchen and public café.
