Design Republic worked with LinkedIn to develop a new office typology that supports a more agile way of working and reinforces the company's identity. LinkedIn’s brand is built on supporting professional development by fostering a strong sense of community online. Our design for their NYC headquarters extends that proposition into the real world. It is a dynamic interior landscape that evokes the streets and storefronts of New York — shared spaces where people can meet for coffee, have serendipitous encounters, share stories, and work collaboratively. Together, we developed the Dynamic Work Environment (DWE), a vibrant new model of workspace that leverages alternative seating strategies to encourage employees to work in a way that is best for them, resulting in employees doing their best work — and LinkedIn being the best company it can be.
