Taconic Investment Partners redeveloped 817 Broadway; a historical and landmarked building in the Union Square area. As part of the redevelopment, new pre-build units were contemplated and Design Republic worked closely with the Taconic and its Real Estate teams to assess the tenant target for the new leasing strategy and to achieve a look that would balance the commercial needs while maintaining a curated residential-like look and feel. Design Republic designed the space around the unique geometry of the building while maintaining a close eye on budget and the need for flexibility required for successful prebuild projects.
