Design Republic led the consolidation of NBCUniversal's Local News and Local Telemundo operations, bringing TV studios, the newsroom, and associated technical production and office spaces onto the 2nd floor and a partial 4th floor. Extensive visioning and programming with NBCU's internal team — alongside coordination with architect of record and ONE Global Design Partner, Partners by Design — drove a leaner footprint and sharper operational efficiency. A standout feature, the "Speakeasy," offers staff a river-view lounge and collaboration space that doubles as a shootable location for special broadcasts. The result is a workspace built for high-intensity news production, staff wellness, and daylight-filled collaboration alike.
