Telemundo Center consolidates the network’s expansive broadcast, production, and corporate operations under one dynamic roof in Miami, Florida. Design Republic served as lead architect for this landmark 550,000-square-foot facility, along with an adjacent 85,000-square-foot scenic and prop warehouse and surface parking for more than 1,600 staff, guests, and audience members.

Purpose-built for Spanish-language news, sports, and entertainment—including Telemundo’s iconic telenovela productions—the campus was designed in close collaboration with the developer and construction team to meet rigorous acoustic, structural, and resiliency standards, including Category 5 hurricane preparedness. Organized around a central technology and production core, the layout integrates studios, newsrooms, and support spaces with a vibrant internal courtyard that brings daylight deep into the interior and fosters a strong sense of community. The open, activity-based workplace model enables staff to choose environments based on task and preference—whether focused or collaborative, seated or standing, private or social—reinforcing the network’s cultural values and NBCUniversal’s broader vision for innovation and flexibility.
